Is it safe to apply a tooth gem at home?
Yes — the MoonRock Gems Starter Kit uses certified materials, including dental-grade adhesive, that comply with UK, EU and USA product safety standards. As long as you follow the instructions carefully, it’s a safe and non-invasive cosmetic application.
How long do the gems stay on?
With proper application and full UV curing, gems can stay on for up to 2–3 weeks. Results vary depending on factors like placement, oral hygiene, and how much wear your teeth go through.
Can I remove the gem myself?
Yes — you can gently remove the gem at home by applying light pressure with a cotton pad or using dental floss to loosen the edges. Any leftover adhesive will gradually wear away over time with regular brushing and flossing.
Last really well and look good
Instructions were easy to follow and was a very quick process. Everything was good quality
I originally put a single gem and a heart on. The heart came off after a few days but this was 100% my fault as I’d chosen a tooth which wasn’t large enough. The other gem has been on now over 4 weeks. I’ve also used it to adhere a heart gem to another tooth, a single gem and a metal star which have been on 3 weeks. I’ve still got stuff left to be able to do more. Much better than I expected
